Professor Stanislav TOMAS was awarded the title of a full professor of international arbitration by the Russian New University (Moscow), the Narxoz University (Almaty) and the Eurasian Academy of Law (Almaty) in 2014. He defended PhD in law at the University of Paris 1 Sorbonne in 2010. He has LLM from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, DEA (MPhil) from the Université Catholique de Louvain, MRes from the European Academy of Legal Theory, LLB from the European Humanities University and BA from the Vilnius University.
Professor Tomas is a director of the Transatlantic Arbitration Institute (Isle of Sark) developing artificial intelligence.
Stanislav TOMAS provides arbitration services, accepts appointments as arbitrator, represents investors in Arbitral Tribunals, advises on strategy and execution of Awards in multi-jurisdictional context.
Professor Tomas has a very high number of won cases before the United Nations judicial bodies. When he was 21 years old, he was appointed to represent impeached President Rolandas PAKSAS of Lithuania in his impeachment before the European Court of Human Rights, and later before the UN Human Rights Committee. He was called to the bars of Transnistria, Andorra, Ukraine, and Moscow.
Prof. Tomas speaks 16 languages. During the last 20 years, he lived, worked or studied in a number of countries in Europe, Asia and Americas. This is what allows him operating cross-cultural and truly transnational solutions.
